Our services are highly specialised – reducing transport costs is a complex task, and we approach it in a comprehensive way. Get in touch with our team of professionals and we’ll put together a tailored proposal that fits your specific needs.

Below are answers to some of the most common questions we get asked.

  • So, what exactly do you do?

We focus on cutting operating costs in road transport, particularly fuel savings. We fine-tune the software in your engine control unit (ECU) to improve torque delivery. Alongside this, we offer tools to monitor vehicle operation and driver behaviour. If needed, we provide professional driver training to improve driving techniques. As a bonus, trained drivers often see significant reductions in brake and tyre wear as well.

  • How much fuel will I save?

Fuel usage depends on the make and model of your vehicle, the engine setup, the load, the route, and (most importantly) the driver's habits and skill. With software remapping combined with driver training and driving-style telematics, we guarantee at least 5% savings. Our customers usually report around 8% fuel savings over the long term. In heavy haulage applications, savings of up to 15% aren’t uncommon.

  • Why doesn’t the manufacturer offer this already?

They do, in a way. When you buy a truck, manufacturers often offer multiple performance variants of the same engine – at different price points. But once the truck is delivered, no further changes are offered, even if your operating conditions change. That’s where we come in: we adjust the software to suit your actual usage, route, and load – all within safe engine parameters.

  • Will this damage the engine?

Not at all. Our tuning is safe because we work with the manufacturer’s own software from higher-output versions of the same engine. In fact, we often lower the engine’s stress by increasing torque at lower RPMs, reducing overall engine workload and cycle counts.

  • How long does it take?

Depending on the brand, model and complexity, the remap usually takes between 1 to 4 hours.

  • Will my dealer be able to see the modification?

In most cases, no. But if you’d like to be 100% sure, we’ll return the software to factory settings before your service or inspection – and then reapply the remap afterwards. Dealers typically check for issues in other areas of the ECU, not the fuel maps we modify.

  • What about my warranty?

If a dealer detects a tune, it could affect your warranty. However, we modify your existing software version – meaning the software number and ID stay the same – so it’s usually not detectable. If you want to play it safe, we can revert it to stock before a dealer visit, and reapply it afterwards.

  • What if the dealer updates or flashes my ECU?

If your ECU is reflashed by a dealer, the tune will be lost. No worries – just give us a call and we’ll reinstall it for you, completely free of charge.
